Bob Biel 1940 - 2017

Robert “Bob” Biel, 77, of Lincoln, passed away July 5, 2017. He was born March 7,1940, to Henry and Catherine Biel of Lincoln. He graduated from Lincoln High in 1958 and enlisted in the US Marine Corp. Upon his discharge from the Marines, Bob went to work for the Lincoln Telephone Company for the next 35 years.  He was an active member of the Communications Workers of America 7470, serving on many committees, the executive board, two terms as president, and as a delegate to numerous state and national conventions.

CWA Local 7470 Golf Outing

Nineteen members and spouses joined CWA Local 7470 for a golf outing at Grandpa's Woods on Saturday, August 27. The weather was perfect, the lunch was good, and everyone seemed to have a great time. A special thanks to Leonard Zeman for organizing the golfing and the lunch.

Bill Pankonin Retires

Bill Pankonin (CST Plattsmouth) retired on Friday, August 12, 2016, after 42 years of service with LT&T, Aliant, Alltel, and finally Windstream. Bill was presented his $200 retirement check from retired E-Board Rep. Rick “Jake” Jacobson with current E-Board Rep. Darren Donovan looking on. Congratulations to Bill...enjoy your retirement!!
